Famous Last Words

Am I the only person who thinks this isn't history? Or does everyone else think that anything that happened in the past is history?

I am of the opinion (a humble one, obviously) that questions in the History round should refer to something that is significant in the history of mankind. It may be a good thing or a bad thing; it may refer to someone we admire or despise. But it should be significant in some way.

The faith expressed on his deathbed, by a superannuated sports star, that he will be reunited in heaven with the beautiful actress wife who predeceased him by 36 years (coincidentally, the same number of years that she spent on this mortal coil) does not, IMHO, fit this description. Ask it in the Quotations round (Round 8), by all means; or ask it in General Knowledge. But please, not in History.
